<DIV>As noted in earlier emails, a proposed compromise agreement with the Columbia Audubon Society (CAS) is currently under negotiation. An Audubon board or committee has voted to support the construction of the trail on the Audubon Nature Sanctuary property with some stipulations. The Columbia Audubon Society membership has not yet voted on the compromise and stipulations. The proposed compromise will require both CAS membership and City Council support prior to acceptance. </DIV>

<DIV>The Parks and Recreation Department is proposing to construct a 20-car porous pavement parking lot at the southern terminus of Plymouth Drive. After conducting research on the various available products, staff anticipates bidding a commercial grass paver system made by Spoil Retention, called Drivable Grass. This lot will serve as an evaluation tool to determine future uses of porous pavers in the park system. The lot will also have restricted use, open from March 1 to October 31 and will be closed November 1 to February 28. </DIV>
