UPDATE--Cause Undetermined for Maplewood Barn Theatre Fire

Columbia Fire Department investigators have listed the cause of last evening's fire at the Maplewood Barn Theatre as undetermined; however, the investigation will continue if any additional information is received.  Investigators worked at the scene until approximately 3:30 a.m. this morning, and then returned at 9:00 a.m. for additional investigative work.

The Columbia Fire Department is asking anyone with information relating to this fire, or if anyone witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Nifong Park, to please call Crime Stoppers at 573-875-TIPS (8477).

The historic structure was destroyed during the 7:56 p.m. fire which was visible throughout most of the Columbia area.
