Columbia Electric Transmission Line Project Open House to hear some important
and timely updates. Transmission lines are being added along Scott Boulevard,
Vawter School Road, Nifong Boulevard and Grindstone Parkway to ensure
electricity is reliably delivered to you and other residents. There will not be any information on the transmission line along Providence Road to McBaine since that part of the project has been delayed.

be an open dialogue format. Property owners and utility customers, who live or
work along the route, will be able to have one-on-one discussions with project
experts to learn about pole placement and pole structure designs. Each station
will have specific information such as maps, schematics, or video to help you
visualize how the project will be realized. There will not be any formal
presentations during the Open House. It is set up for you to stop by and get
specific information on how the transmission project may intersect with your
property, street, or neighborhood.
