<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Columbia Fire Department Responds to Extrication Accident</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to a multi-vehicle collision at Stadium and Mick Deaver Drive on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 3:41pm.  Units arrived approximately five minutes later and observed two vehicles with heavy damage.</p>
<p>Fire crews performed a rapid assessment of the scene and found one of the vehicle occupants was trapped.  Fire crews used specialty equipment designed for extrication and were able to free the subject in under five minutes.</p>
<p>One subject was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The occupant of the other vehicle refused transport.</p>
<p>Five units from the Columbia Fire Department responded to this call.</p></div>
