<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house informational meeting concerning a traffic calming project on Stewart Road. Stewart has been identified as a street with traffic operating speeds higher than desirable. This Interested Parties Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., in Conference Room B at Daniel Boone Regional Library, located at 100 West Broadway.</p>
<p>The purpose of this meeting is to review potential solutions for the Stewart Road traffic calming project including:</p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Define and prioritize problems</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify desired outcomes</span></li>
<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Provide an overview of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program</span></li>
</ul>
<p><br /><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing some preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A public comment form will be available and comments will be considered as the design is developed.</span></p>
