<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Multiple shots fired incidents early this morning</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">Columbia Police officers responded to three separate incidents of confirmed shots fired early this morning. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">At 12:32 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Garth Avenue and Sexton Road in reference to shots fired. Officers located a new bullet hole in the yard of a residence in the 100 block of Sexton Road. There were no reported injuries or further property damage. The investigation is on-going.</span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">At 1:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Newton Drive for shots fired. Officers observed a residence in the area that had been struck multiple times by gunfire. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shots fired and the amount of property damage in unknown at this time. The investigation is on-going. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">At 2:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Worley Street in reference to shots heard. Officers determined shots had been fired in the area. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of the gunfire. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">At 2:39 a.m., officers and Boone County Sheriff's deputies in the area of Clark Lane and Ballenger Lane heard multiple rounds of gunfire. After a search of the area, officers were unable to locate a scene and there were no reported injuries or property damage. This incident was cleared with no report. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-family: Palatino; color: black;">Columbia Police detectives are actively investigating these incidents to determine if they are related. A light colored sedan was seen in the area of some of these shots fired incidents, but it is unknown if it was the same vehicle at all scenes. </span></p>
