<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">As downtown businesses gear up for the holiday shopping season, the City of Columbia is partnering with Parkmobile to offer $2 off parking with the use of the mobile app. The promotional code will be valid Saturday, Nov. 5 through Jan. 1, 2017.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"For those who haven't used Parkmobile yet, this is a great opportunity to try it for free," City of Columbia Transit and Parking Manager Drew Brooks said. "By using this promo code, we think a lot of people will discover the benefits of using the app."</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The 45-cent app transaction fee will also be waived during the promotion. The discount is applied by entering promo code "gift16" upon registration or the parking confirmation screen. A QR code can also be scanned into the "Promotion Codes" tab of the app. The code is only valid for one use per customer and does not allow for use over multiple transactions. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Parkmobile is a mobile app payment option for parking in downtown Columbia. The green Parkmobile sticker on every meter indicates how to download and use the app as well as the meter's zone number. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The mobile app can be downloaded from the app store of the user's device. Users must complete a one-time registration process that asks for their license plate number, payment and other information. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Benefits of the app include a one-touch login process, parking expiration notifications and the ability to remotely extend parking time from any location. </span></p>
