<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Palatino; color: black;">Columbia Police officers were dispatched at 6:31 p.m. to 1612 Providence Road, Welcome Inn, in reference to a cardiac arrest. </span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Palatino; color: black;">Upon arrival, officers located a male, alone, inside a room of the business. The male was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel. At the time of this release, detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division, the Crime Scene Investigator, and Patrol officers are working to determine if foul play was involved. Detectives have requested a search warrant for the room where the male was located. At service of the warrant, the scene will be processed and may assist detectives in determining the status of the investigation.</span></p>
<p style="margin-top: 5.25pt; background: white;"><span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: Palatino; color: black;">The identity of the male will not be released until next of kin has been notified. The investigation is on-going. </span></p>
