<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia/Boone County Environment and Energy Commission (EEC) is hosting a rental energy efficiency forum on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. in rooms 1A and 1B at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The Commission will gather ideas on how to encourage energy efficiency in residential rental properties. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Previously, the EEC proposed to Columbia City Council that improving energy efficiency in rental housing would make a significant difference in lowering costs for tenants. Columbia City Council requested the Commission gather stakeholder feedback before proceeding with any recommendations for changes.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The format of the meeting will begin with a brief introduction of the topic, followed
by small group discussions. Feedback and prioritized suggestions will be provided to Columbia City Council. Refreshments will be provided. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span></p>
