<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia is committed to collaborating with community partners and citizens to achieve the vision of Columbia as the best place to live, work, learn and play. As part of the Strategic Plan, the City announces the selection of New Chapter Coaching and Diversity Awareness Partnership (DAP) to continue the facilitation work of Carl Kenney.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Carolyn Sullivan and Elisa Glick with New Chapter Coaching and Nikki McGruder with DAP have formed a team with a combined 40 years of experience in comprehensive facilitation and strategic planning services.  </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">"Carolyn served as the lead facilitator during the creation of the City's 2016-2019 Strategic Plan; therefore she is knowledgeable of the plan and its process. Elisa has experience working with various diversity initiatives at the University of Missouri, where she is an associate professor known for teaching and group facilitation skills. Nikki, in her position with DAP, facilitates discussions and events that focus on making our community more inclusive," City of Columbia Assistant City Manager Carol Rhodes said. "Their combined experience will be very beneficial to our community and to reaching the goals of the Strategic Plan."</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">New Chapter Coaching and DAP will serve as facilitators for the community meetings being held in each of the three Strategic Plan Neighborhoods (Central, North, East).  As facilitators, their job will be to encourage citizens to share information about their needs; information that might help the City to work alongside them to design and implement strategies to improve the quality of their lives.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">New Chapter Coaching and Diversity Awareness Partnership were selected from a pool of five firms that submitted responses to the request for qualifications. The contract amount is $30,520 and will run from December 2016 through May 2017.</span></p>
