<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Utilities' sewer division will be completing smoke testing on the sewer system at 16 N. Eighth Street on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 a.m., weather permitting. The testing will take about 30 minutes. An odorless and non-toxic smoke will be introduced into the sewer under pressure from a blower at the surface and a field crew will record any visible signs of smoke coming from the system. The test will show the condition of the sewer line and check if any storm water is entering the sewer system. If any problems are detected, then the repair work can be planned.</p></div>
