<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Public Works Street Division will continue to treat Columbia streets with a new shift beginning at 7 pm tonight. Crews began to treat subwards (neighborhood areas) at 12:30 pm and estimate about 80 percent reached. The new shift plans to continue tackling the remaining subwards prior to anticipated midnight temperatures of 15 degrees.</p>
<p>Public Works continues to monitor forecasts with reports of a possible 0.5-1 inches ending by midnight. Temps are still forecast to be bitterly cold overnight at 0° at 7 a.m. Sunday.</p>
<p>Not much warming is expected Sunday (high around 10). We are planning to have a minimum eight-person crew in at 7 a.m. Sunday morning but that is subject to change.</p>
<p>Public Works continues to encourage residents to stay home if possible.</p>
