(COLUMBIA, MO) -
Public Works Street Division reports that, due to off and on snow showers and bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills, crews began to refocus on first and second priorities around 10 p.m. last night.

Crews continued to work exclusively on first and second priorities this morning. However, some crews are now being diverted to subward neighborhoods to treat streets that were not reached last night.

Crews will continue to focus primarily on priority routes until further updates.

Winter event procedures and lists of priority streets, and MoDOT streets, are available at CoMoSnow.com.

Updates are also available on Twitter @pub_works and Facebook.

Public Works continues to encourage residents to consider staying home today if at all possible.
