<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <span style="font-weight: 400;">Each year the City of Columbia receives federal funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) due to its population, demographics, and federal appropriations. The City estimates it will receive approximately $830,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $400,000 in HOME funds in FY 2018. These funds primarily benefit low to moderate income households, and can be used for economic development, fair housing, community facilities, neighborhood needs, and affordable housing.<br /><br />The City of Columbia encourages residents to complete a brief FY 2018 Community Development Needs Survey. Responses will help guide the prioritization of projects as the annual funding cycle moves forward. The survey can be completed online at <a href="https://goo.gl/forms/1v2U1yGT8zh5lTvV2">https://goo.gl/forms/1v2U1yGT8zh5lTvV2</a>. For more information
