<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">ARREST MADE IN ATTEMPTED STRONG ARM ROBBERY AT WALGREEN'S ON BROADWAY</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">On 3/7/17 at 2:36 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a robbery at 222 E. Broadway, Walgreen's Store. The investigation revealed a female victim, age 66, was approached by a white female who attempted to take the victim's purse and struck the victim several times in her face, body and legs. The suspect fled the scene on foot heading east without the victim's property. The victim sustained a cut to her right hand during the assault.</p>

<p>The suspect later identified as Samantha Nicole Doty was detained at 2:51 p.m. and she was identified by the victim as the suspect that tried to rob her. Doty was arrested for Robbery in the Second Degree and released to the Boone County Jail. No mug shot is available at this time.   </p>
