<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The City of Columbia Volunteer Programs is postponing this Saturday's litter pickup of Rock Quarry Road to Saturday, March 18, 7:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. The postponement is due to the Public Works Street Division's need to prepare for the possibility of winter weather the morning of March 11^th.</p>
<p>The public is invited to help with the clean up March 18^th. Volunteers should meet at 7:15 a.m. at Capen Park for instructions and to receive supplies. Harold's Doughnuts is providing volunteers with donuts during the briefing.</p>
<p>Rock Quarry Road will remain open during the event with intermittent lane closures.  Individuals are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. Those travelling through the area are urged to exercise extreme caution and watch for the volunteers in the roadway. A special thanks to the Public Works Street Division for their support and keeping the volunteers safe.</p>
