<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">New information received in Tuesday's kidnapping/I-70 crash</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">One child in Tuesday evening's crash on westbound I-70 has died from her injuries.<br /><br />Thirteen-year-old Shianna N. Mays, of Columbia, was flown by helicopter to a local hospital Tuesday, 3/7/17, after being one of five occupants in a vehicle that was involved in a crash near mile marker 117 on I-70 at approximately 4:25 p.m. S. Mays was listed in serious condition at the hospital. She died today as a result of her injuries sustained in the crash.</p>
<p><br />S. Mays, Adrianna Mays, 10, and Tyler Mays, 9, were taken from a residence in the 1700 block of Spiros Drive prior to the crash by Demetres Washington and a woman, who originally identified herself as "Nia Boldridge." While being treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash, warrants were issued for Washington and "Boldridge" for three (3) counts of Felony Kidnapping in the First Degree.</p>
<p> <br />Columbia Police officers arrested "Boldridge" Thursday, 3/9/17, at 6:00 p.m. outside of the University of Missouri Hospital on the warrant. It was not until after the arrest was made that detectives received information that "Boldridge" was using a false name. Through further investigation, detectives determined "Nia Boldridge" was actually Mackenzie Nakole Quiovers, 22, of Platte City, Mo. Quiovers is in in custody at the Boone County Jail.</p>
<p> <br />The Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Columbia Police Department are currently investigating the circumstances of these incidents. The Missouri State Highway Patrol, who has been investigating the traffic crash, is now investigating this as a fatality crash due to the death of S. Mays. The Columbia Police Department is investigating the kidnapping. Additional charges are possible once the investigations are completed.</p>
<p> <br />No additional information is available at this time on the condition of Washington, or the other two children involved in the crash.</p>
