<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">One woman who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound after a shooting in the 1000 block of Madison Street has died.</p>
<p>Shamya Nicole Brimmage, 25, of Columbia was pronounced dead last night at a local hospital. Brimmage sustained a gunshot wound after bullets penetrated the walls of a residence in the 1000 block of Madison Street yesterday at 10:10 p.m.</p>
<p>The Criminal Investigation Division continues to investigate this incident as a homicide. A second female victim, 23, was also transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound as a result of the fired rounds. Her condition is still unknown at this time.</p>
