<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">ARREST MADE IN ARMED ROBBERY AT PICKLEMAN'S ON OLD 63</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">                        </p>
<p>On 3/24/17 at 2:07 a.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at 2613 Old 63 South, Pickleman's Deli.</p>
<p><br />The investigation revealed two male employees, ages 21 and 24, were inside the business when a black male wearing eyeglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, and grey sweatpants entered the business and placed a black bag on the counter and demanded money.  The employees' advised the male pulled what they believed to be a black handgun and pointed it at one of the employees. The employee placed an undisclosed amount of money in the black bag.  The male suspect grabbed the black bag and took off running southbound from the business.</p>
<p>Officers located a black male matching the suspect's description at approximately 2:12 a.m. in the 2900 block of Old 63. A K9 track was completed and ended in close proximity to the area where the male was located by officers. During the K9 track, officers located a black hooded sweatshirt, a pair of fleece gloves, and an airsoft pistol.</p>
<p>Kevin Jabari Strong, age 22, from Illinois, was arrested for Robbery in the First Degree and Armed Criminal Action.  Officers located the money stolen from Pickleman's in Strong's backpack as well as a receipt where Strong purchased the airsoft pistol on 3/21/17 at Dick's Sporting Goods.  </p>
