<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">ARREST MADE IN ASSAULT AT DOUGLASS PARK</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Meisha M. McDuffy, age 20, from Columbia, was arrested for Assault in the First Degree and Armed Criminal Action.</p>

<p>On 5/12/17 at 8:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to an assault in Douglass Park located at 400 N. Providence Road. Officers arrived on scene and contacted a male victim, age 19, with lacerations to his abdomen, arm and hand.  The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.</p>

<p>The investigation revealed McDuffy and the victim knew each other through a mutual acquaintance. McDuffy came to the park upset with the victim and she began assaulting him by punching him with her fists and using a cutting tool.</p>
