<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Mid Missouri Solid Waste Management District, Region "H", announces the University of Missouri/City of Columbia/Boone County scrap tire, electronic waste, and household hazardous waste (HHW) collection held at the University of Missouri Hearnes Center Parking Lot SG4/AN, on </span><strong>Saturday, June 3 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residents should enter via Providence Road onto Mick Deaver Drive, south of the football stadium.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Farms and households from Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Osage Counties may participate.</span></p>

<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>No charge</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for HHW items. <div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$2.00</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> per car tire (24" or smaller); with or without rim</span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$10.00</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> per truck or tractor tire (over 24"); with or without rim</span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">There will be a charge on every tire and cash or checks will be accepted.<br /><br /></span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>Electronic Waste Fees </strong></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>$10</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for each CRT Monitor/TV, console, DLP, and Rear Projection TV's </span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>No charge</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> for all other appliances and electronic waste items, including flat screen televisions. All electric and battery operated items will be accepted.<br /><br /></span></div>
<div style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>No early drop offs and no business drop off.</strong></div>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This project is funded in part by a grant from the Mid Missouri Solid Waste Management District approved by the Department of Natural Resources. Partners include the University of Missouri, the City of Columbia, Boone County, Midwest Recycling and ABC Tire, LLC.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia's HHW collection facility will also be open on Saturday, June 3 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Grissum Building, 1313 Lakeview Dr. Tires are NOT collected at this site. </span></p>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Regardless of which site you visit, please be patient as each site normally experiences high traffic volume.</span></div>
