<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Parks and Recreation is planning a dedication of the new Cosmo Corner at Nifong Park, 3700 Ponderosa St. Festivities will be held from 5-7 p.m. with the program at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 8.</p>

<p>The dedication ceremony will feature comments, a ribbon cutting and a picnic meal of hot dogs, chips and beverages.</p>

<p>The Columbia Cosmopolitan Luncheon Club donated $125,000 toward Cosmo Corner, which features two new shelters, farm-themed playground, fishing dock, two new parking lots and expansion of existing lot, lighting, ADA walkways, water fountain and signage. Park sales tax funding in the amount of $250,000 was also applied to the project.</p>
