The Columbia Community Land Trust has been awarded a grant from Grounded Solutions Network to host a regional convening on community land trusts. The convening will be from <span class="m_-4812565213101668409gmail-aBn"><span class="m_-4812565213101668409gmail-aQJ"><span class="aBn" tabindex="0" data-term="goog_2016119486"><span class="aQJ">12:30 to 5 p.m.</span></span></span></span> in the City Hall Council Chambers, 701 E. Broadway. Grounded Solutions Network helps promote housing solutions that will stay affordable for generations to come. The Col
umbia Community Land Trust is a non-profit organization recently incorporated by the City of Columbia to create and preserve permanently affordable housing.</div>

<div>Community land trusts create successful homeownership opportunities, while also preserving public investments in affordable housing for future generations. The Columbia Community Land Trust and its regional partners: Tenants to Homeowners, Springfield Community Land Trust and Beyond Housing's 24:1 CLT are sponsoring the free regional workshop for Community Land Trusts (CLTs), community partners, and regional communities and organizations interested in learning more about CLTs. The event will feature presentations and interaction with industry experts Mike Brown and John Davis of Burlington Associates in Community Development, as well as presentations of best practices from regional partners and experienced CLT practitioners.
