<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) invites the public to a free HIV testing event on Tuesday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Testing will be conducted at the PHHS clinic at 1005 W. Worley St. in Columbia. Tests require a finger prick and take 15 minutes to run. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Free testing will also be offered on June 27 at Living Canvas, 520 E. Broadway, from 4 to 7 p.m. and at Spectrum Healthcare, 1123 Wilkes Blvd. Suite 100, from 5:30 to 10 p.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this year's theme "Test Your Way. Do it Today." is a call to get tested now and a reminder that there are more ways than ever to get an HIV test. About 1.1 million people in the United States have HIV, and 1 in 7 of them don't know it. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of routine health care.</span></p>
