(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia residents now have a convenient way to track progress on infrastructure improvements.

"The Community Dashboard is another transparency tool that lets citizens see where infrastructure projects are happening," Mayor Brian Treece said. "Taxpayers can check the progress of projects in their neighborhood, on their commute to work, and in the community to make certain the City is completing projects promised at the ballot box."

Columbia's Community Dashboard website is a map-based tool that communicates the current status of many capital infrastructure projects. The "City Pr

Clicking on a project leads to a pop-up window with information including construction project fiscal year, project status and project time frame.

The City of Columbia's Public Works, Utilities, and Parks and Recreation departments are always busy completing existing infrastructure projects and planning new projects. These projects are listed in the Capital Improvement Project Planning Document, which is approved once a year during the budget process.

A visit to the map tells viewers that:
&midd
