(COLUMBIA, MO) -
Musselman & Hall plans to continue its ongoing surface seal operations Saturday, July 8, weather permitting. Onyx surface sealer will be applied on Green Meadows, Greenbriar and the bike path on the Forum Boulevard shoulder between Wilson's Fitness and Crestwood Lane. Bike lane markings will be temporarily covered until City crews can return later to re-stripe them. The Forum shoulders were added to the surface seal schedule since the last update.

There are currently no plans to restrict lanes on Forum while the shoulder work is performed but northbound traffic may be slowed during spraying. The Onyx surface treatment is a fast-drying asphalt roadway and pavement sealing solution designed to extend pavement life. It is a mixture of liquid asphalt, fine aggregates, recycled products and bonding agents.

Musselman & Hall will provide traffic control but minor delays are likely. Please follow the instructions of flaggers and obey any "No Parking" signs posted in the area. Vehicles left on the streets may be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.

An extended hours work permit for this Saturday has been approved by Columbia Public Works.
