<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Beginning </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monday, July 17 at 7 a.m., the University of Missouri  is scheduled to begin work that will close the connector from the sidewalk on the east side of Providence Road to the MKT Trail (about 200 feet north of Stewart Road). The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 28 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of the closure is to allow the University of Missouri to safely construct a material handling building just inside their fenced property, which abuts the access sidewalk.  Because the building location is so close to the sidewalk, MU requested a closure for safety purposes.</span></p>
<br />
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Neither the MKT Trail nor the sidewalk along Providence should be affected; only the access between them will be closed (see Location Diagram). Pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users may access the MKT Trail at Elm Street or at Stewart Road.</span></p></div>
