<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - City Manager Mike Matthes will deliver his annual budget message for fiscal year 2018 on Friday, July 21 at 10:30 am in the City Council Chambers at 701 E Broadway. <br /><br />Citizens are encouraged to attend and learn more about the proposed budget which will cover the time period of October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. <br /><br />Citizens will have the opportunity to make public comment at three city council meetings:<br /><br />
<ul>
<li>Monday, August 21 at 7:00 PM (Public Hearing)</li>
<li>Tuesday, September 4 at 7:00 PM (Public Hearing)</li>
<li>Monday, September 17 at 7:00 PM (Public Hearing and adoption)</li>
</ul>
<br />A council work session will be held on Wednesday, August 23 in the council chambers beginning at 9:00 am and the public is encouraged to attend. <br /><br />The budget message, council meetings and work session will all be broadcast live on Spectrum/Charter channel 992, Mediacom channel 80, CenturyLink Prism TV channel 96 and streamed live on CoMo.gov<br /><br />Copies of the proposed budget will be available to view at City Hall, 701 East Broadway in the Finance Department on the 5th floor or in the City Clerks office on the 2nd floor. The proposed budget will also be posted on CoMo.gov</div>
