<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Mill and overlay, chip seal operations planned for July 24-28</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Capital Paving plans to continue mill and overlay operations beginning next week. Locust Street, from Providence Road to Sixth Street and Richmond, from Rollins Street to Kentucky Boulevard are scheduled for milling on Monday, July 24 and asphalt on Tuesday, July 25, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Capital Paving also plans for milling operations on Ninth and 10th streets for Thursday, July 27 and asphalt on Friday, July 28, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">City crews plan to chip seal Business Loop 70, from Creasy Springs Road to Stadium Boulevard on Monday, July 24, weather permitting.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should exercise caution in these areas while crews are working. Minor delays may occur.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The work is part of the 2017 </span><a href="http://www.como.gov/publicworks/streets-and-sidewalks/maintenance/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Pavement Management Plan</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, which was presented to City Council on March 20. This plan is based on the principle that preventive and rehabilitative street maintenance is more cost-effective than reconstruction.  </span></p>
