<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">The City of Columbia Solid Waste Utility will begin residential trash and recycle routes at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26 as opposed to the original start time of 7:30 a.m.  Early pick-up is due to the heat index above 100 degrees projected by the National Weather Service and the impact this temperature can have on Solid Waste collectors. Customers are urged to have recycling and trash materials to the curb no later than 5 a.m.  As a reminder, customers may place materials curbside after 4 p.m. the day prior to collection.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.</p>
<p>Affected customers who are subscribed to notifications through the City's <strong>COMO Recycle and Trash</strong> app have been notified directly.  To receive future notifications regarding collection adjustments, please download the <strong>COMO Recycle and Trash</strong> app available for Apple and Android devices.</p>
