<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Utilities Solid Waste Division will begin commercial collection routes at 3 a.m. and residential collection routes at 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21.  Due to the anticipated influx of people in Columbia for the solar eclipse, the early start will allow for a majority of the collection routes to be completed prior to heavy traffic associated with the day's scheduled events. More information regarding events available at </span><a href="http://www.comoeclipse.com/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">http://www.comoeclipse.com/</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residential customers on the Monday route are urged to have recycling and trash materials to the curb no later than 5 a.m. As a reminder, materials may be placed curbside after 4 p.m. the day prior to collection.  We appreciate your patience.</span></p>
