<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Flat Branch Relief Sewer Project 3 will be moving north into the intersection of Sixth and Cherry beginning Tuesday, Aug. 22. Crews from Sterling Excavation and Columbia Water & Light will continue to work on the sewer main and water line located under Sixth Street. Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in the area.<br /><br />While Sixth Street is closed to north/south traffic from Elm to north of Cherry, the intersection at Locust is open to east/west traffic. To access the Sixth and Cherry Street parking garage, use the south entrance and exit on Locust. <br /><br />Elm Street remains closed to east/west traffic west of Sixth Street through Hitt Street, the intersection of Elm and Sixth remains open to southbound and eastbound traffic and the intersections of Eighth, Ninth and 10th are open to nor
