<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced on Monday, Aug. 28 that the Street Division plans to </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">remove an empty electrical box in preparation for a contractor to repair some pavement "shoving," sometimes referred to as washboarding or rutting, later this year</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">. This will result in the closure of one of the southbound left-turn lanes onto Broadway from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Aug. 30, weather permitting, and will continue through Sept.1 if needed.</span></p>
<br /><span style="font-weight: 400;">Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation are urged to use caution in the work zone. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Minor delays are possible, please consider using an alternate route.</span></div>
