<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced on Sept. 8 that Sam Gaines construction plans to continue construction of median islands on Providence Road, between Turner Avenue and Burnam Road, the evenings of Sept. 11-13. The work, which is part of </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">the Providence Road Improvement Project, is scheduled to begin each evening at 6 p.m. and finish by 6 a.m. the following morning, weather permitting. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">The passing lane in each direction will be closed in this area.</span></p>
