<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Flat Branch Sewer Project conducts night work at Sixth and Broadway on Oct. 2-3</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Flat Branch Sewer Project will progress into the intersection of Sixth and Broadway beginning Monday, Oct. 2, resulting in a closure between the hours of 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.  Construction of the water main is expected to last two nights, weather permitting. The sidewalk on the south side of Broadway will be closed at Sixth Street and traffic will be rerouted to Cherry or Walnut during construction.<br /><br />The east side of Elm Street has been reopened east of Eighth Street.  Elm Street will remain closed to east/west traffic between Sixth and Eighth. <br /><br />Sixth Street remains closed to north/south traffic between Elm Street and Broadway but the intersections at Locust and Cherry are open allowing east/west traffic to cross.  Sixth and Elm is handling traffic both directions, south of Elm on Sixth and west of Sixth on Elm.<br /><br />Motorists, nonmotorized transportation
