<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Tractor Trailer Overturns on I-70</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle collision on I-70 westbound at the 128 mile marker at 5:24pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.<br /><br />Fire crews arrived on the scene approximately 4 minutes later and observed a semi-tractor trailer on its side blocking the inside, westbound lane of I-70 at the 128.8 mile marker.  <br /><br />Crews observed a substance leaking from the trailer and out of caution requested the department's Hazardous Materials Truck and additional Hazardous Materials Technicians to evaluate the substance.  The driver of the vehicle was not injured.<br /><br />It was determined that approximately 20 gallons of paint leaked from the trailer.  Missouri Department of Natural Resources was contacted and the material released was cleaned up.<br /><br />The inside lane of westbound I-70 was shut down for approximately two and a half hours. &
 
 nbsp;<br /><br />Seven units from the Columbia Fire Department responded to this call.  There were no reported injuries.<br />  </div>
