<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Smoke testing of sewer lines throughout parts of Columbia beginning Oct. 11</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">TREKK Design Group, LLC and the City of Columbia Sewer Utility will be conducting smoke tests beginning Wednesday, Oct. 11.  Smoke tests will be conducted in small segments near previous source area removal projects.  This work will determine if previous repairs have removed instances of inflow and infiltration of stormwater into the sewer system.  The testing may last through October, weather permitting.</p>
<p>Properties within the shaded area may be impacted by these tests.  The smoke is non-toxic, non-staining, odorless, white to gray in color and is harmless to pets. If smoke is detected in a building or home, the room should be ventilated through an open window or door. </p>
