<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px; margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Water line work to close Locust at Sixth Monday, Oct. 16, redirecting Go COMO Gold routes</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">With the completion of the water main work at Sixth and Broadway, crews will work to tie existing waterlines in to the new water main along Sixth. Closure of the Sixth and Locust intersection, beginning Monday, Oct. 16, is required to complete the necessary tie-ins within this intersection. Weather permitting, the intersection in anticipated to be reopened by Friday, Oct. 20. </p>
<p>Go COMO Gold Line routes 2A and 2B will reroute to Cherry Street in order to connect between Fifth and Hitt Street during this time. Check https://twitter.com/GoCOMOTransit for current routes. </p>
<p>Elm Street is closed to east/west traffic between Sixth and Eighth as pavement crews patch the street and prepare for reopening. <br /><br />Sixth Street will remain closed to north/south traffic between Elm Street and Broadway but the intersection at Cherry is open allowing east/west traffic to cross. </p>
<p>Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in the area as construction continues. </p>
