<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Elm Street and portion of Sixth to reopen Friday, Oct. 20, closure of Cherry at Sixth Monday, Oct. 23</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Pavement crews are making the final improvements to Elm Street, which will be open fully by Friday, Oct. 20. Construction on the southern portion of Sixth Street between Elm and Locust will also be completed and reopened this week, meaning construction will be contained to Sixth Street between north of Locust and south of Broadway. </p>
<p>While the intersection of Sixth and Cherry will remain open for the University of Missouri homecoming weekend, it will close beginning Monday, Oct. 23 in order to complete the necessary tie-ins and final patchwork within this section. The intersection will be closed for the remainder of the project and is anticipated to reopen by Friday, Nov.10.</p>
<p>Go COMO Gold Line routes 2A and 2B will return to normal routes, taking Locust between Fifth and Hitt Street. <a href="https://www.como.gov/CMS/pressreleases/www.GoCOMOTransit.com">www.GoCOMOTransit.com</a></p>
<p>Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in the area as construction continues.</p>
