<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Man Critically Injured After Residential Fire</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - On Friday, October 20th, 2017 at 12:30 AM, units from the Columbia Fire Department were dispatched to 18 Forest Avenue for a residential structure fire.  The first crew arrived five minutes later and found a single story residential structure with smoke visible.  The structure was made of three separate apartments, and a fire was located inside one of the units.  Fire crews found an adult male located inside the involved unit.  He was removed from the structure and transferred to the care of a medic unit.  He was transported to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The fire was extinguished in approximately five minutes.<br /><br />Three people were located inside one of the other apartments and escaped without injuries.  The Columbia Fire Department Marshals Division is conducting an investigation which is ongoing.  Damages are estim
