<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">ARREST MADE IN SHOTS FIRED ON THE PARKING LOT OF WALMART ON GRINDSTONE PARKWAY</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">On 12/23/17 at 12:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to a disturbance with a shots fired on the parking lot of Walmart located at 1201 Grindstone Parkway. Prior to officers' arrival on scene, Boone County Joint Communications advised the suspect vehicle left the area and a description of the suspect vehicle was given out to officers.</p>

<p>Approximately seven minutes later, officers in the area observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle at Providence and Rollins. The driver was identified as Demarcus Antonio Maxwell and officers located a firearm with one empty casing inside the weapon.</p>

<p>Post Miranda, Maxwell admitted his involvement in the shots fired.  A victim was not located at the time of the report. There have been no reports of anyone injured in the shots fired investigation.</p>

<p>Demarcus Antonio Maxwell was arrested for Unlawful for Certain Persons to Possess a Concealed Weapon, Unlawful Use of Weapons Felony, and Operating a Motor Vehicle on Highway while License Revoked.</p>
