<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <span style="font-weight: 400;">City of Columbia offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 1, in observance of New Year's Day. Offices will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 2. The regular City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 2</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Residential trash and recycling curbside collection will not be made Monday and will be delayed one day the remainder of the week. Residents can download the COMO Recycle and Trash app for collection day reminders and notifications. Questions concerning collection schedule should be directed to the Contact Center at 573-874-CITY (2489). The landfill will also be closed.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Go COMO, Columbia's public transit system, will not operate
. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Tiger Line shuttles are observing the University of Missouri's winter break and ended service on Friday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. Limited service will resume at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10 with full services resuming on Tuesday, Jan. 16.</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br /></span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Metered street parking and parking garage regulations will not be enforced on the observed holiday. Although administrative offices for both the police and fire departments will be closed, all other emergency services will be available.</span></div>
