<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia is still accepting nominations for the 2018 Howard B. Lang, Jr., Award for Outstanding Volunteer Service to the City of Columbia. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Jan. 19.<br /><br />Lang awards have been given to eight worthy citizens since 2009. Nomination information can be found on the City of Columbia website at <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov">www.CoMo.gov</a>. Search for "Lang Nomination." The information provides full instructions for nomination.<br /><br />Nominees can be any adult person who has volunteered significantly with City of Columbia programs and/or services. They can be regular citizen volunteers or elected volunteers serving the City of Columbia. Nominations will be evaluated on the basis of the nominees' volunteer activities, personal initiative and impact their volunteering made on the City of Columbia.<br /><br />Please contact John Baker, Trust
