<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Columbia Public Works will host an open-house style interested parties meeting concerning a Rollins Road calming project on Thursday, Jan. 18. The meeting is scheduled to take place</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> from 6 to 7 p.m. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">in the Russell Boulevard Elementary School Media Center at 1800 W. Rollins Road. The first meeting was held on Aug. 23, 2017. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The goal of this project is to calm traffic on Rollins Road between Stadium Boulevard and Sunset Drive.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Rollins Road has been identified as a street with traffic operating speeds higher than desirable speeds. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Rollins Road is number four on the 2016 Neighborhood Traffic Management Program Priority List. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The purpose of the meeting is to review potential solutions, define and prioritize problems and identify desired outcomes. </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Information and diagrams showing preliminary design concept will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A public comment form will be available so resident input can be considered as the design is developed.</span></p>
