<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">ARREST MADE IN ARMED ROBBERY/KIDNAPPING AT BEST BUY ON WORLEY</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Erik Demetrek Colbert, age 28, from Fulton, was arrested for Armed Criminal Action, Robbery in the First Degree, Kidnapping, Felony Stealing, and Assault in the Fourth Degree.</p>
<p>                                                                         </p>
<p>Officers were originally dispatched on January 14, 2018 at 6:26 p.m. to a hostage situation/robbery at 2001 W. Worley Street, Best Buy.</p>

<p>The investigation revealed Colbert entered the business and held an employee at gun point to steal items from the store. Colbert then held a female customer and her two children at gun point in order to make his escape out the doors and forced them to help him carry the stolen items out to a vehicle. Colbert fled the scene in a vehicle with the stolen items. There was no one injured during the robbery. </p>

<p>Colbert was located and arrested at 7:08 p.m. shortly after the robbery at Midway Budget Inn when he stole a car at that location. Colbert was arrested and released to the Boone County Jail.</p>
