<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) requests proposals from mid-Missouri artists for its annual "Traffic Box Art" program. One artist will be selected to address the traffic signal box at Seventh and Cherry streets in The District. The honorarium to be provided is $1,500 with an additional reimbursement of up to $500 for supplies.<br /><br />The goal of Traffic Box Art program is to make traffic signal boxes more resistant to graffiti while at the same time contributing to the uniqueness of the downtown streetscape. <br /><br />To be considered, applicants must submit their design proposal on the provided template, a resume, professional references and an artist statement. All application materials must be received by 5 p.m., March 23, 2018. Project guidelines and application materials are available at <a href="http://www.CoMo.gov/arts/call-for-artists">www.CoMo.gov/arts
