<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">A Public Works plow crew is scheduled to report  this evening, Sunday, Jan. 28 at  11 p.m.  to prepare Designated Snow Routes for forecast snow and possible road slickness.</p>
<p>The forecast is calling for scattered rain and snow showers from the north as a fast-moving system works its way through the region. Warm pavements are likely to melt snow initially but slushy accumulations become possible as roads fall below 32 degrees<span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">.</span></span></p>
<p>"Pavement temperatures are not currently expected to fall below 32 degrees until after 1 a.m.," Engineering Manager Richard Stone said. "Some spotty slick conditions could persist through the Monday commute."</p>
<p>Drivers are urged to allow extra time for their morning commute and drive at slower speeds. </p>
