<div style="font-size: 110%; line-height:200%;"><h3 style="clear:both; margin-top: 75px;  margin-bottom: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 170%;">Home invasion in the 3600 block of Hermitage Road</h3>
<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - <p style="display:inline;">Columbia Police officers responded to the 3600 block of Hermitage Road at 7:24 a.m. for a report of a home invasion with a gun. The preliminary investigation revealed three occupants were present inside the home when a male suspect forced entry. The suspect brandished a firearm at one of the victims and searched the residence before fleeing the area. There were no reported injuries and the amount of property damage is unknown at this time.</p>

<p>A K-9 officer and handler from the Boone County Sheriff's Department assisted with a track, however, the suspect was not located. The suspect is described as a black male between 30 to 40 years old, weighing approximately 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing multiple layers of dark colored clothing. The investigation is on-going.</p>
