<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - City of Columbia Mayor Brian Treece would like to invite the media and interested members of the public to attend a press conference where he will make an announcement about the Mayor's Task Force on Bicentennial Celebration Planning. <br /><br />The press conference will be held on Thursday Feb. 8 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, in the historic lobby of the Daniel Boone Building. The Task Force was created to honor Columbia's rich history and commemorate the 100th and 200th anniversaries of the City of Columbia, Village of Smithton, and the Daniel Boone Tavern and Hotel, as well as the creation of Founder's Park at 31 S. Providence Road.</div>
