<div class="content"><span style="padding-left: 50px;">(COLUMBIA, MO)</span> - The City of Columbia has obtained, through donation, approximately 47 of acres of land presently located in unincorporated Boone County at 840 N. Strawn Road. The City is seeking public comment on potential uses that the acreage may be used for. A Public Information and Input Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1B of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.<br /><br />Presently, the City of Columbia is requesting to annex the 47-acre property into the City and apply R-1 (One-Family Dwelling District) as permanent zoning. The City is also requesting a two-lot final plat of the property, which is being handled separately.  Any future development and/or land use considerations will require additional public input processes and will be guided by the public input received during this public comment period. <br /><br />For additional information, please call 573.874.7239
